7/20/20 Update:
2020 Fall Sports Update
Due to Covid-19 and delayed school starts, TCSAAL is releasing a revised calendar with a delayed start to the season. See revised calendar here.
TCSAAL will follow UIL’s lead in allowing all full-time students to participate in extracurriculars whether they are full-time students through remote learning or in-person learning.
Major changes are the delays of Volleyball and Flag Football. Also the delay of Basketball.
Varsity Basketball and Volleyball will be an 8-game season, instead of the traditional 10-game season.
Cross Country has been suspended with the plan for it to be made up at a later date.
As the start of the season approaches we will release more Covid safety guidelines. We also intend to have a virtual Coaches Conference, where we will get your feedback on safety procedures and playoffs. We will release that date at a later time.
If your campus intends to participate in extracurricular competitions with TCSAAL, your school needs to complete and submit the registration form if this has not yet been submitted. It is our hope to have all activities this year even in the instance of further delays.
We will release season schedules as we get closer to the start of the seasons.
We want to thank you all for your understanding. We appreciate and value the importance of extracurricular participation, but health and safety must come first and that will continue to drive our decisions.
Thank you,
John Bucy
President
