***STATE MEET POSTPONED FROM 10/28 to 11/4***
*********Good Afternoon TCSAAL Cross Country Teams,*********
Travis County Parks has informed us this afternoon that due to the amount of rainfall they have received so far this week, current conditions, and expected forecast through Saturday, they are closing the park for the weekend. We will no longer be able to hold the TCSAAL State Cross Country Meet at Webberville Park this Saturday 10/28.
With that, we have reserved the same park for the following Saturday 11/4 for the same timeframe. While we understand this does present some logistical challenges for transportation, lodging, etc., we are working with Travis County to ensure that we can provide a fantastic and safe State Meet on 11/4. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are looking forward to hosting everyone and seeing our best runners in the State on 11/4.
We advise you to share this information with your bussing and hotel reservations as many are honoring reschedules to the following weekend due to the weather.
