Riverside: All players must comply with the club’s dress code that states a shirt with a collar must be worn;
shorts must be at least mid-thigh in length. Riverside Golf Course is a soft spike only facility
High School Teams play an 18 hole tournament. 6-8 Grade teams play a 9 hole tournament.
New for the 2019-2020 school year: • Coaches will rank players 1-5 on their team so we can match up groupings with similar skilled opponents.
• Athletes must participate in a minimum of 3 rounds of golf during the school year before the TCSAAL tournament. These can be in-house with the team or other open tournaments. Coaches will submit golfers handicap average over their previous 3 rounds to TCSAAL before the state tournament. Average can be determined with a 9-stroke max per hole. This is to ensure that participants have some basic preparedness for the tournament.
• At any time during the play of a hole, a competitor may pick up the ball and record a 9 for that hole if it becomes apparent to the player that a score of less than 9 is highly unlikely.
